Thanks guys, GST will be paid once the item is declared but gee $900 that doesn't leave you much for many toys.
What if I walk through customs with the EP in my jacket pocket and if asked what it is I can say to them it's an EP that was used by my friend and it was given to me because it was going to be thrown out?
I won't declare it as a gift or being purchased, maybe more like a hand me down.
