well its been a few months since i bought my new scope and after weeks of terrible weather had some viewing nights over christmas and really struggled with the pointing accuracy of my scope.it just kept on putting everything 30 minutes out or on the side of my eyepiece.i kept on training drives and playing with the edit numbers to bring the accuracy back into the eyepiece....
since its a bintel scope sydney gave don a ring and after doing some test we found that the dec.. encoder was around 40 minutes out.. its a big tast to take a 14"sct of its pier and post it back so don did a disk on how to change the motor and encoder it was quiet easy and only took around an hour with a couple of phone callers to don with silly questions,so ive already reset the handset and trained drives and wow the edit numbers are way better and don was happy so tonight im out for a little session to see if things are back on track...

imagine the trouble i'd be in if i bought overseas the postage back and forth would break you!!!!!!! scopes maybe a little cheaper overseas but customer service here is way worth the little extra.......
