A lunchtime walk

Went for a walk with the 350D during my lunchbreak at work today, aronud Berry Island near North Sydney..

Here's a couple of shots..

Nothing done to them except resize + reduce quality for post.

I've never really done bird photography before, because my camera didn't have a long enough zoom, but with the 300mm it lets me at least try it.. not sure i'm into it yet. Can be very frustrating, and i'm sure you'd get sick of a thousand shots of magpies or miner birds

Also found a nice smudge of some kind in the centrepoint shot, around the middle up the top against the blue sky.. Hope it's only on the lens and not the CCD.
