lovely image Peter, your using the QHY8? so this isn't temperature noise rather it is signal noise - cant quite tell from this one posted but the top right and lower left areas look like slightly elongated stars? Man i love the filament detail of the flame. I have the gear just not got the time yet to try this i am still struggling to set up the dome.
