I thought I might quickly share the template I used to make a holster for the hand controller on my Orion XX14i for anyone who might be interested in having a go at making a DIY version rather than buying the one from Orion. There are two files in the zip. One is a direct scan of the template that I made and used (sorry, it's a used template so it's not the prettiest), the other is a line art version that will be more printer friendly.

It's pretty easy to make from sheet aluminium. Take a look at the finished version in the attached pictures, and fold your aluminium along the lines in the templates.

Sand your edges smooth, and spray it all with etch primer. Finish with a coat of matt black spray paint. I lined mine with left over Protostar flocking paper, but it looked fine unlined as well. It fits the controller like a glove and beats the hell out of using the out-of-the-box velcro solution.
