The Supernova Search Charts and Handbook

Cambridge Univ. Press. Full set of 236 charts in a hard cardboard storage case with accompanying hardback book. Described here http://frcaq.com/us/catalogue/catalo...sbn=0521267218

Also selling at Amazon for US$250 http://www.amazon.com/Supernova-Sear.../dp/0521267218

Soon after buying these new I realised that galaxy hunting wasn't going to work in my suburban skies. They've never been outside and sat unused in the bookshelf ever since. As new condition except for some minor scuffing on the back of the hard outer cover. The book and charts are pristine.

Great reference for anyone with dark skies and an interest in galaxies. Even if you don't want to try supernova hunting, the detailed charts of each galaxy are useful, with magnitudes of all neighbouring foreground stars marked. Interesting reading and great reference set.

$180 includes postage within Australia
