Yes, CCD commander would be a delight to get up and running, especially with an observatory How easy did you find it to use? Woudl you trust it all night while you spelt..?

Hi Mike,
thanks for your comments. In answer to your question I would say no, I would not trust it at the moment. However, I think most of my mistrust is my own doing. I still have to come to grips with the limitations of my own knowledge. I am learning every night and it is getting easier. As it gets easier I trust it a bit more. I am finding that I have to go outside less and less every night I use it to check things over. I think that by this time next year I will trust it....

I think CCD Commander is easy to setup and use. Once it is running it is a breeze. After my lesson for tonight (not possible for FocusMax to focus with 0.5s exposures with the SII filter) the program has performed faultlessly.
