That's the problem with the eyepiece holder type adapters, they sometimes sag and don't sit straight. I used to push them up whilst tightening as one way to reducer that. Ideally you have solid screw on type adapters but then they cost more.

It is not the adapter but the two screws that hold the camera assembly in the focuser

Also sometimes they tighten right on the step of the focal reducer (it is a WO reducer/flattner).
I wish i could just screw the whole assembly on the scope so it would be rigidly connected.
Could go for a moonlight focusser but i am saving for a G11 at the moment.
