Congrats Darryl!! 8" Dob was my first good scope, and had it for years, and saw a huge array of wonderful targets.
Alas, I think we have to blame the
aussie $$ - I think 1000s of people along the eastern seaboard have bought a huge amount of astronomical gear. Its true!! I still have 4 EPs and a snazzy new finderscope that I have been unable to use.
