re storms
We had 8 inches of rain here yesterday,the Blackbutt Range (D'Agulair Hwy)
is closed due to mud slides,and I have been told may be for a few days.We lost power,just so much rain,it ran into everything.
Taromeo Creek is roaring (see image),lots of furniture/bedding and matresses floating past.The local saw mill has had the front fence ripped away by raging waters,I never thought living 430 m above sea level,on a mountain range,would be an issue as far as flooding waters go!
Yesterday's 8 inches was a record.
I do hope we see some sun soon.
