I imagined just how bad it may be when we have conditions such as now.
Half a metre over the floodway is a lot of water. To make it a full metre is incredible. It is not just double the water quantity it is much more than that.
its spread may be 10 times to raise that extra 500mm.
We are heading for a drought. Not next year or the year after. It will come. Makes you think. The water is here now. We have a challenge.
