I live on an island now.
The water is rising in the low lying areas of town.
The unfloodable bridge is flooded.
Cattle are running out of room.
The Memorial Hall in town is hosting those who couldn't get room in the motels in town.
They're sandbagging the BP.
And the torrential rain hasn't eased one iota all afternoon. Over 4 inches since 9am according to BOM, but talking to locals just up the road from me, they've had 180mm today.
It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
