All your comments made me laugh because they`re all true.
Last summer I looked at a Normand Fullum telescope in my astronomy store and I`ve never been more confused in my life. One minute I was thinking it was a hideous eyesore, then the next, it was a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. I will tell you one thing though, it was smoooooth, and every part of it screamed, `quality.`
But I wouldn`t buy one because it looks like it`s part of a ship; it`s very masculine; and it`s over $2000.00 for a 6".
Normand Fullum is not American, he's from Quebec, Canada. I guess because I'm from Quebec too I understand what the look of the telescope is about. Quebec is all about trees and maple syrup. So why not make a maple syrup telescope? Don't you have a dingoscope?
