I had to add to this thread (although it could have been one of the other "flood/ rain" threads) as I've been thinking of all of you Queenslanders and the flooding which is just starting to make the news here in the USA.
While it is a terrible thing, I had to smile when I saw this morning's Financial Times Newspaper which showed a picture of two guys loading a boat with (as outlined in the picture caption) "Emergency supplies"...which when looked at in the picture were slabs of XXXX ...I thought it captured the Australia that I know and love...emergency supplies= beer!
