Well, I imagine that it probably is not a defect since you are having the exact same problem. Although, a defect is not totally out of the question, it is more unlikely. I guess that I will just keep it at 30fps and save for a better camera.
Thanks for the confirmation Rob! Now, when the wife asks why I need a better camera so soon, I can say, "but Rob from IIS said....."
