Hi everyone. I'm new here & just got myself a WA2081 from ebay for xmas.
I have installed it on my roof approx 7 days ago. I worked fine for the 1st couple of days, but then noticed the wind sensor was not spinning in very light winds which it did spin initially with even the slightest breeze. I have taken the unit down from the roof & noticed the wind sensor does not spin as free as it did originally & makes a slight grinding sound when it does spin.
I have taken the cap off the wind sensor, detached the pcb and trying to figure out how to pull off the top to expose the mechanism to see what's wrong. Does anyone know how to remove the top? Do you just pry it open?
