hi. i too saw this last night.i had seen it before in my 16" dob and now with my new 12" dob i thought i would give it ago. it took me hrs to find it. i was looking in the wrong spot first before i realized the stars were wrong
.i was just a little out
. once i was in the right area it took me a while to notice/see it. it was there i just didn't notice it at first as it was very faint especially wit ht he h- beta filter on it was like walking around in the dark with out a light.. the best view was with my 20mm plossl with a H beta filter. without the filter i could see more stars but it was harder to see the neb. it was visible but harder to see.
i do recommend looking for the right stars first to help in finding its location. lol.
