wow i was fairly right - same damn nice transparency tonight - pity about the twinkly stars! was getting fairly deep mag (for here) faint twinkling stars anyway

NE the LMC had great geometric definiton, SMC surprisingly clear - luminous beacon Eta carinae neb was suspended in a web of a warmly ebbing but fainter glowing nebulosity, like a spider in its web kissed by the morning dew, floating in a gentle breeze - the running man cluster was almost blinding and threatened to run me down!
