I tried to play for a bit and had some wonderful clear patches but they were interrupted fairly often by scudding low cloud. It is rather humid out there as well. Found my battery charger for the Nikon though so night wasnt a complete waste.
Hope you did better than that. The few looks i got at Saturn, Orion etc. were enough to whet the appetite.
