See if there is a club near by and try out a few of their scopes before you make a decision OR a better way to go would be to contact a few members in your locality, arm yourself with a "six pack" and have a look through theirs. All scopes have +'s and -'s and you should get some good advice from fellow members. And what ever you decide keep your eye out for the New Year sales
