I went out for a few hours last night. The moon was big and bright but still had a terminator edge so i popped in some eyepieces to test and managed to use my 6mm TMB barlowed (400x) and was still quite achievable even though the air was a bit turbulent.
The orion neb although not as big as usual still had plenty of colour as did the tarantula. I was able to see a few other fuzzies around the LMC although i couldn't see the LMC at all! Couldn't spot much else as Jupitor was too low in the trees.
It was nice to just be able to get the scope out.
