Good to hear that your problem is solved.
But for anyone else reading this thread, Meade DSI's need a full 5 volts to run properly.
USB is 5 volts but by the time the cable takes about 0.001 volt the DSI won't work as it should.
It will not run properly on 4.9999 volts. Crazy
Problem solved by using a powered hub.
