Good choice Hewy.
I have found though, that if you want to really push the scope to it's limits (ie. expect it to perform like an APO) you need to use Panoptics. Cheaper eyepieces and even some other TeleVue types don't star test well near the egde of the FOV in this scope. I haven't tried any pentax's yet.
The really excellent thing is that it seems that the build quality is excellent from scope to scope. Me and Dave47Tuc put neilzstar's scope and mine side by side and put them through there paces. The images were identical.
