I nabbed 17 Geminids in the hour I was outside.
Two of them were beauties too. One blue and one orange. The blue one was the very first one I saw.
Had a little flurry of them too, all one after the other.
They all were to the far right of the twins, as that was where I was imaging. Who knows how many I missed on the other side?
Plenty of sporadics as well. The best one was at zenith, it came whizzing through leaving a quite speccy smoke trail as it broke up.
As Venus rose, she bought the clouds with her. But I'm really glad I made the effort to get out there.
