That latest repro is very nice Alan! A beautiful rose - you got some excellent data there with heaps of detail. There's still a tiny bit of green in the background levels though (Scott got rid of that).
Maybe just a matter of calibrating your screen? I got a dual monitor setup (identical monitors, but calibrated and connected differently) that has really helped me finding color problems. What looks black on the one can look distinctly red/green/blue on the other!
