At the time, I shot these in colour, and didn't think I'd be converting to black and white.
Seriously, though, the white balance was so rorted in these images (lots of tungsten lighting) that despite correcting white balance, there was a remnant of a sickly glow to the images. That's the point where converting to monochrome becomes an option. For me, at least.
I'm envious of your upcoming trip!
