Also agree with Asimov. Trees have their place, but not in my FOV.
I have 3 trees on my property and 5 on the neighbours that stuff the western horizon (about 90 deg in azimuth and 60 deg in elevation). The council's tree preservation order says I can't cut them down. (Wonder if I can say the roots are damaging the swimming pools on all 3 properties.)
I could pay someone to get the trees on my northern boundary pruned by about 2-3 metres - they only block to about 20 deg in elevation.
SWMBO keeps looking for a property to buy, and I keep rejecting them because of the number of trees we would not be allowed to clear to get a reasonable horizon.
