I have no problem with that- I know what eta looks like in the Greek alphabet...
Eta Carina is masked slightly by the homonculus nebula - I've been trying to get a good look at that for a full year. It's over the roof of my house and I'd need to wait til 4am - to get a cold roof (concrete tile!).
I call the whole shebang with the right angled dust lane in it the Carina Nebula - wasn't sure of the NGC number - so thanks for the number - they seem so personal somehow....
It seems Stellarium forgot to put the nebula in there!
