Did some quick Jupiter observing tonight with the WO Binoviewers again. The halo effect I mentioned was non-existent, producing a much nicer image
Not sure what caused it before but happy that it's gone now (for now).
Have yet to test on DSO, possibly this weekend if the weather holds up.
