Wideview Closeup Moon 17-11-2010

Seems contradictory but on this evening was a big test for me to try some alternatives what I have traditionally imaged.

On this night I image Jupiter with no barlow and on this case i did the same "No Barlow". I managed to image 6 zones which can be merge to a degree but there are some exposure issue i am looking into.

To get the detail as attached a shot of the moon, I supersized the capture resolution from 640 x 480 to 1284 x 1024 at 7.5FPS.

The image shown is reduced in quality substantially to be viewed on the forum but seems to show some detail on what I was doing. The originals are far better in quality but massive in drive space.
Had fun capturing seeing seemed to be quite good. I will try and display another image in the hope to retain some detail.

Heres the other beef, processed these using AVIStack instead of Registax.

Cheers
