There is some amazing detail there in the horsie himself. Well done.
I'd suggest that your third rendition is over-saturated. I actually would like to see a blend of the luminance/brightness detail from your first shot, with the shadow detail in your second rendition. There is a heap of detail still to be brought out in your image (I had a very quick play in Photoshop, I'm that starved of photons).
Grab some more data when you can!
