Talking Geez, what a helpful bunch you are! Ta!!

I thought I'd share a little experience I've had of the generosity of fellow IIS'ers.

A couple of month's ago I placed an ad asking for some bricks with which to extend my vegie patch. Geoff & Marc graciously offered what they had, and now the vegie patch has more than tripled in size! I wasn't able to take up the bricks Marc offered, yet the one's Geoff was able to give me were just perfect for the job!

The beds have now been planted/sowed out with heaps and heaps of tomatoes, corn, watermelon, cucmbers, capsicums, various types of lettuce, spinich, silverbeet (rainbow chard), beetroot (heirlooms), eggplant, beans and various chillies.

This is in addition to what is already crowding out the original vegie patch and masses of pots dotted throughout the yard, plus the two chooks. The kids enjoy using the vegie patch as a perpetually open tuck-shop, munching on the tom's as thier hunger demands.

The pic shows the current state of the vegie patch witht the original patch behind the exposed fresh brick beds and paving.

Thanks very much Geoff and Marc, .
