I did not bother to watch. I have seen those type of shows before. They are designed so that the average person can answer enough questions to feel good and think their IQ is better than it probably is.

I remember the sample IQ tests that were in ads to join MENSA 50 years ago. I answered every question correctly. I knew I was not that good unless the questions were rigged. I did not apply to join!

When I used to sit on an interview board I used to try to find something out about the interviewee and then ask technical questions about something I would not expect them to know. I was not looking for the correct answer just how they approached the problem. I recommended some people without any qualifications and ignored many with university degrees. I always got someone who could do the tasks I had in mind.
