What to do with my Tasco Toy
So crappy weather means you either work on the to-do list your wife has kindly made up for you, or work on some diy astro. Obviously diy astro takes total priority!
I have an old Tasco refractor, my first telescope when i was 12. Rubbish it may be, but it was what spawned my love of all things celestial, so i just dont have the heart to bin it.
A few days ago i started thinking of what else i might do with it. I currently have a 12" dob, and i dont need another finder or a guide. Is there anything i can build out of the Tasco to make something useful, either for my dob, or perhaps a solar scope?
