Not to difficult Dave. I use CCDStack for my blending and mapping to RGB but you can use almost any of the software out there to do the same.

Briefly.
I load the Ha, OIII and a copy of the OIII.
I align all three images.
I create a colour composite using Ha image as red at factor of 1
I use the copy of the OIII as green at a factor of 0.7
I use the OIII as blue at a factor of 1
Hit the create button and hope. Sometimes I have to vary the factors a little depending on the original data then into photoshop for a fiddle.

This might give you some idea how simple it really is.
