No sense of adventure Ian, nothing like a bit of rain to keep the dust down and to clear the skies! There were some suitable moments in the early hours of this morning, limited though they were. It's just lucky we don't have too far to go to our dark site.
For those who don't know, Ian is his work position has the ability to have a significant influence on the light pollution emanating from Nhulunbuy, the design of street lighting, and a key to the local soccer club to turn off their lights on GAA club nights. An excellent appointee/committe position to have in any astronomy club!
