Marc, it solved in about 20 secs on my Atom powered notebook with the Tycho2 catalog. You can get the overlaid version and ini file from
here. Copy the ini to the same directory the image is in and it should work for you. The hint I used was:
Custom : NGC2070
Sensor size : 22.5 x 18 mm
Focal length : 520
Here are the basic results (in degrees):

OrigDec=-69.100833
FieldWidth=2.424571
FieldHeight=1.608341
