I have only recently started to consider looking at finer detail instead of chunky. There is usually a bit more noise in the finer detail images but I prefer that.
I have decided to work with older images now to find the best processing method all round. I hope to be ready by November 6 when I will start imaging again if good weather.
I am now starting with splitting RGB then recombining.
I've noticed recently one side of jupiter is very smooth compared to previous years images.
