This unit looks very clean to me. I've looked after it like a baby - and as a previous Tak owner you'd know how we tend to be pretty precious about our gear - I think it's probably a trait.
I've just flipped the mirror up with the manual clean menu option and it looks literally spotless. The thing is new inside.
