The PST is a great introduction to Ha solar observing.
They can also be modded to give a very large aperture, safe, solar scope.
Here in the UK we're working on Large Aperture Single Stack (LASS) and Large Aperture Double Stack (LADS) designs using sub diameter ERF's and double stacked PST etalons. This gives an opportunity to assemble a 150mm or 200mm solar scope with a resolution <0.4A. Majic!!
