Hmmm? yes the outer areas are very faint but I would have thought 2.5 hrs at F2 and 280mm aperture would have revelaled a bit more too
. Maybe t'was becasue of the Moon? What band pass is your Ha filter? What about your calibration method is that sound, there are big dark patches above and below the Helix?
