I not sure that it's possible to bend square (or any other profile tube for that matter) into such a tight diameter without distorting it in such a way that it causes 'issues'.
You may wish to call Peter at SDM Telescopes (
www.sdmtelescopes.co.au) and ask if you can buy a couple of his cast bearings off him and save your self a whole world of pain
