Yeah...I suspected this (not enough saturation) Was just waiting for a guru to verify what I might have done wrong, thanks Mike! I'll give that a shot, if it wasn't for this damn weather, I could take several AVIs at different settings to work all this out myself.

I tried full saturation in registax but the central planet details turned bright purple (yuck)....but I'm guessing it's too late to try that AFTER the fact in software, needs to happen at the time of capture?
