M17 cdk17

I am impressed by the optics of this scope and its light gathering ability.

Here is a late M17, taken low in the sky where I wouldn't normally image. I was waiting for a galaxy to rise so I could image it.

LRGB 20 10 10 10.

Only 50 minutes. Aperture definitely rules.

Planewave CDK17, FLI Proline 16803 at -35C, Astrodon Gen 11 LRGB filters, Paramount ME.

I'm going to have to do really long exposures once I get some good weather to see what it can do.
