there's a fair bit of chat about shutter counts on the web..
this site suggests average of 500,000 out of 5DmkII (with a lot of variability). that's a lot of timelapse! cropped sensor cameras have lower shutter ratings but are also cheaper to repair. i'm still not worried about it
