It only takes about 15sec to remove the secondary to assist air flow as they are Hyperstar enabled. This is actualy mentioned some where in a Celestron manual or on the web site. It won't be long before some one fits a fan to either the vents or at the secondary for more rapid cool down.Personaly give me a
good quality Newtonian any day.-( I have an EDGE and there actually quiet good as far as SCT go for Planets but I find a well built newt hard to beat
