Easy way to solve the problem, do as I do and get a P/O box. No one to Nick your hard earned goods, it all stays dry... Even in QLD. No you don't have the convenience but if you are away for a few days no probs, you can do registered mail and the iPad has a nice little tracking app so you know where that precious gear is.
