I agree with Ron. I opted for the 1091 because the advertised rain sensitivity was 0.1mm as opposed to the 0.3mm for the 2081. However, the 1091 (and probably the 1081) also have a sensitivity of only 0.3mm. So there is no advantage in going for the earlier model.
The latest model seems to use push-buttons on the frame for access to the settings. Probably better than the touch-screen, although mine seems to be working fine.
Go with the later model. Must be some benefits.
