Is this the chat room or should I go elsewhere albiet I'll rant here unless directed elsewhere,
My wife broke her arm 5 months ago and because of her MS it's only just healing now, at one stage the Quakes where thinking of operating which involved removing a piece of her hip (bone) to put in her arm.
Well when I heard this the first thought I had was "the hip bones connected to her arm bone" thereby changing the lyrics of the song and the whole human anatomy.
Needless too say after visit 6 to the specialists they decided 6 weeks ago not too operate and hopefully by the next visit around mid October she'll take her arm brace off.
So while everyone else whinges about their problems I've been dealing for the last 5 months with , shopping, cooking, cleaning, caring, working full time and while in that time suffering from a bout of pheumonia. Alas I still have a flemmy cough every morning since being deemed cured of it a few weeks ago.
To top it off even after my darling wife has her brace removed there will be a period of physio to return strength to her arm, so it could be a few more months before she's back to some form of normality.
In all this time we've had to ask our friends to come too our place, only ventured out twice together socially, several times to the hospital, argued a lot, cried and joked over the situation.
We are in dire need of a holiday but this will have too wait, life goes on.
