Rotten luck Mike, you can get a wheel hub from supercheap for peanuts ($30 odd), they're simple to replace (5 minutes) even if you're mechanically challenged.

Take the old hub with you as there are a couple of different patterns.


I had a wheel come off my 4Wd once, the rear wheel nuts had been deliberately loosened, I'd driven to QLD and back after the wheels were off last so it wasn't a case of the nuts loosening over time.

I'd heard some clanking noises in the driveway a couple of nights before and went outside to check but found nothing.

I'm fairly sure they were after the alloy wheels as the other rear wheel had all wheel nuts loose as well, the fronts were still tight as, I suspect that I disturbed them in the process of trying to steal my wheels.
